No I actually oppose china's aggression against Taiwan. I am married to a Taiwanese woman I have Taiwanese parents in laws and children with a loyalty to Taiwan.

The moment America attacked Iraq with false justification I realised Taiwan would be a victim one day. The belligerence of the american government and their rules based international order where they and only they get to make and break the rules and the constant undermining of countries and their governments by the CIA has lead us to this point.

It is often a reaction to these actions that leads to violence. If the west believed in peace then the west needs to lead by example and stop the aggressive undermining of governments and wars.

if the west believes in democracy then they have to allow it to happen even if the outcomes are not to their liking and if the west believes in freedom then they have to actually allow freedom in their own countries.

When I meet my wife almost 30 years ago China was firing missiles over Taiwan.

Since then my government signed a free trade agreement with China. This government has allowed factories to close and move production to China they have allowed Chinese government owned corporations to buy critical infrastructure and inductries in new zealand.

This has happened all around the west. Our jobs, wealth and knowledge and sovereignty have all been traded to China. So China was an enemy of Taiwan 30 years ago and 50 years ago.

If China and its communist government has always been the enemy and our governments have sold our people, resources, land and knowledge to China then who is the real enemy?
